Demand Driven Training

Demand-driven training (DDT – an unfortunate acronym given the devastation caused by the agricultural chemical) refers to skills development interventions which prepare young work seekers to take up specific job roles.

The skills include relevant hard and soft skills (behaviours).

The skills development needs emerge from a close interaction between the employer and the skills development provider.

The young work seekers are generally understood to be high potential but disadvantaged young people.
